Is the Standard Model a Theory of Everything?
Hibgs is essentially a little ripple in that field that fills empty the whole space. The standard model potentially works up to energies much higher than the large hadron colider can reach. We now have real predictions of what physics should look like at the largeHadron calide. But it's very clearly not a theory of everything, because it doesn't include gravity or dark energy and there are all kinds of open questions.
