Gold Isn't Worthless, Is It?

Both gold and silver are used in every aspect of the global economy. They cannot just say you can't use it at all, because that's going to have a mager impact on those other areas like medicine or manufacturing. Could they stop jewelry it'is a possibility, but not really. I do personally think that an overt confiscation is likely to happen. But, you know, maybe it will and maybe it won't.

During hyperinflation, am I correct that nearly all stocks, ETF's, and bonds would be near worthless because all stocks and bonds are only redeemable in currency which eventually will have near zero in terms of purchasing power?
