The Tribe Mentality of Collectivism

I feel like anyone who perfectly aligns with any side is muting some part of themselves right. They are denying at least a certain segment of the intellect that they could like allow themselves to have because that doesn't make sense if you fall in line with every Republican talking, whatever Democrat talking point. But I also know that most people really do only hold positions to put themselves into a group to be part of a group to have community and that's that tribe mentality. So I get it. And but I actively fight against it because it doesn't makes sense for my life. Like, it just doesn't.
