Is There a Rise and Fall Cycle of Civilization?
As a long term technological optimist, how do you see that rise and fall cycle of civilization? Is that something that's still in our future? Or is it its the optimizing some sort of something happening underneath that, or overtopping it? Yes, no, i think ititsis t absolutely true. You know, at they don't take anywhere, not just asia, butimust places o the world. And so for me, the political boundaries are very, very mobile and much more fluid than we tend to thinkand again, most of the throughout the world, particularly the british empire, those boundaries were just hand drawn almost, you know, randomly.
