What's New and Different About the Israeli Government?
Last year, the israeli police took initiative and decided to block the area of the damascus gate. This didn't happen this year. The directive, i imagine, came from above, came from the government. So not only it did not happen, but even when there were provocations by palestinian youth a, the police didn't use it as an excuse to attack the whole crowd. And i think it's part of our responsibility if we wish to promote less violence and more mutual respect.
