How Did Cryptography Come About?
He was just widely oe curious and interested in topics, or nothing elsewhere was co so you got crypto. A lot of the cryptography from the ma stand like side of things was very like number theoretic. It's learning about different kinds of abstract maps around different structures of numbers. And itwas, it was like, very fascinating stuff, especially just seen, you know, how some of that could be directly applied to real, live things. The implication of it was a real world attack on a protocle being proposed for a em v credit cards.
