Does a Strict Morality Lead to a Dangerous Hypocrisy?
When we mean a strict morality, i think we need to distinguish between it and dogmatism. Some of the most admirable moralities that we've had in our world are very demanding. The people standing up to a rechibaagann in turkey are doing so from a very strong moral conviction. And this is really import - not thinking that we should retreat instead to some kind of moral laxity.
