The Toxicity of the Culture
In the United States, 20% of women have to go back to work with them two weeks after giving birth for economic reasons. Women are acculturated not only to take on the burden of the emotional stresses of their children, but also of their spouses. We parented in small band hunt together groups, where mothers had all kinds of support,. where the whole tribe was the parent. This is elephants, human beings, we're meant to be parented in a communal grouping.
