The Four Stages of Neoliberalism in Australia
In your book you discuss four stages to Australia's neoliberalization. Could you discuss what these stages are and why you find it important to periodize neoliberalism? I found it really useful to understand how things shift say with the election of government but actually what that continuity between periods are. There was this like protonia liberal phase where there was a lot of talk about the need to make transformations to the economy. After that there's a more piecemeal phase we were still like in a neoliberal era but actually they've made a lot of big policy and interventions.
