We Should Only Employ Our Military Power When Our Vital Interests Are at Stake

The only reason you have any right to ask people in the military to be in harm's way is to protect the freedom of Americans, including their own. I mean, we have a lot of sources of American power and I write about that in the only strong course. Our military power is the foundation of all of our power, but it's also the power that we would least like to employ. We should only employ it when our vital interests are at stake.
