Is Open Search Serverless a Serverless Offering?
Open Search Serverless is not a serverless offering in the classic sense. The monthly baseline costs are $690 US dollars. You get four so-called Open Search Compute Units, which translate to 25 GB memory. It's comparable to overall serverless version 2 and to Neptune serverless. Actually, I think it's very hard to find a scenario where you can really reduce your costs by switching to this serverless offerings.
