How to Negotiate Effectively With Your User Community
I couldn't agree with you more in terms of honing in on end user or user in general. So I think you have to take the time to go around and meet those people in advance. If you can get any kind of rapport developed with them, if you can understand their capabilities and limitations and priorities and resources, you can start to have an effective negotiation with them. And then you can also advocate on their behalf.
