Is Pessimism a Feature, Not a Bug, of Journalism?
Pessimism is bad, like scepticism is a feature, not a bug, of journalism. For you that you need to leave it, leave it behind. i think there's this movement of journalists moving into operator rolls and they're going to have that natural pessimism arout themt. And some of that is just, like, the personalities of the type of people are e journalism. But part of that isjust a function of the profession. You have a lot of people who are trying to shade the truth or finesse their own interests. So i think that has an impact when you deal with that for decades.
