The Sentience Institute Podcast

CHAPTER

Is There a Need to Invest More in Academic Research?

Sentience Institute has been arguing that the fundamental movement needs to focus more on tactics that target institutions rather than individuals' diets. This year there have actually been three new randomized control trials that found evidence that relatively time-intensive lecture formats given to students can successfully encourage them to reduce their consumption of animal products. Have you guys read any of those studies or have any reflections on that? Yeah, I also found them quite positive and there have also been smaller scale studies that we've done at Fonnalytics looking at other types of advocacy methods and finding evidence of change as well.
