Is There a Universe That's Full of Life?
The universe is now about 13.8 billion years old and will probably contain stars for another 100 trillion years or so. We do appear to be in a universe that's pretty empty, which does seem to imply we're in a universe not super fond of life. This is plausible though, especially if the conditions for life are very different from like the generic world's condition. It's interesting to think whether you could make universes that were slightly better than ours for life by tinkering the parameters. But yeah, it's not clear to me whether we should expect.
