I think there's a danger of overstating the capacity of an authoritarian society, like Russia or China, to create this kind of homogeneous outlook. It looks like that from the outside, but there are very important internal tensions occurring there as well. The influence of the West is quite important among sections of Russian or Chinese society. There are regional differences. And one of my fears is not just simply what Russia is doing in Ukraine. One of his fears is what will happen if Russia implodes, the Federation implodes. A lot of the republics, sort of, exist within the Russian Federation are dying to get out of that Federation. They're all looking somewhere else.
