Antibiotics for Children With Community Acute Pneumonia

Five antibiotics are recommended for school age children diagnosed with community acquired pneumonia. How long should they be treated? Is an open question. This randomized, blinded, placebo controlled, non inferiority trial looked at five days of a moxicillon with five days of Placebo. The key result no statistical difference in the clinical cure rate at two to three weeks.
