Do Gorillas Really Learn Sign Language?
Most gerilla gestures are built in. And they never learn any new ones in the wild, i'm saying. But in a lab, you can actually teach them novel gestures, like american sign language,. and they can actually learn it, and then they can learn how to use it with intent. So there is a level of intelligence there in that they can learn these new gestures, but boy, is it limited.
