The Wine Language

I was intrigued with this language that's used by wine taste. Very often they should be sticking to technical terms. But I think sometimes we want to convey more than just a description of the basic elements. And when we reach for those words, we're doing some bit of the describing job, but also some bit of evaluating. We're trying to describe not just what the properties of the wine are, but also the quality of the wine as a way of recommending the certain quality of experience you can have as a taster.
