The default is in photos to make any aspect ratio you want, just grab the corner of the thing and move it. There are ways around this for trackpad users, power book,. Laptop users that have trackpads or Mac users have trackp pads. You can go to crop and then pinch and zoom. But that is much less precise than grabbing one of the corners of the little crop thingy.
