Middle level managers are reticent to have these conversations and to engage with the front line. The manager may say, I work for a company Clarissa. I don't get training. They don't have a training department or a training budget like the companies you work for. If they do, please take advantage of it. Don't allow the financial concerns to keep you from being your best.
