Lambda is a system that generates chatbots for various purposes. Lambda was working on an AI project at Google where it tested for religious bias. When doctors Timniet Gebru and Margaret Mitchell got fired, it was because they were one of the rare instances where Google didn't want to allow them to publish their research findings. The paper that they got fired over was called Stochastic Parrots.
