Foucault: Why did a consideration of the will to knowledge even emerge? And he's going to give us examples from Aristotle in which he justifies. Foucault asks, why did this emerge? Because even before then, and even after then, there have been efforts to understand knowledge historically. He suggests that there can be epistemic operators by contrast with Savois' "t tacit knowledge"
