Having a Good Reputation in the Software Development Space
It's easier to get people talking about your tools when you have a good reputation. Some of the best brands in the world are unaffiliated that engineers going and speaking about them at conferences. But again, all this is long term thinking. Lot of companies get stuck in cycle of just letting the next round of funding motivate them purely. And getting stuck in like the short term all the time is going to be really harmfulfor that long tail.
