The Effects of Medication on ADHD
Nick will talk about roots to diagnosis. Not all drugs that treat ADHD are stimulants, so some antidepressants can be used. The medication will not stop you having ADHD. You'll still have poor working memory and emotional outbursts. It just makes you a more functional person. A lot of people would probably be OK with taking anti-depressants. There's a difference between the approach to depression and ADHD meds.
