Antia's husband was horrified, furious that Balerophon would do something so treacherous and disgusting. But well, he wasn't actually up for killing Balerophon himself. Is this because he feared retribution from the gods? Maybe? Or was he just pretty fucking sure that he couldn't defeat a guy like Balerophon? Also very possible. For the sake of the story, though, he sought to kill Balerophon in a very creative way. He handed Balerophon a tablet and told him to travel to Lycia where Antia was from to visit her father, Iobotes, who ruled there.
