Those Images Are Threaded Through Popular Culture

Some people take that very, very literally. And a really good example of that is what happened with the heavens gate sect. You may remember several years ago, tha 39 people committed suicide together in the united states,. believing that spaceships manned by angels were coming to take them up rescue them from the sinful world. That straight out of the book of revelation. But those themes, those images, are threaded through popular culture and have been right through the last 30 or forty years for most of us.
