Bob and I had set it up that way back in 1938 before there were any integral. This thing refused at this end here in New York, partly because it was felt that since the groups were having such a hard time to even have a club house without a few or to manage their simple affairs,. how could we possibly bring traditions to bear on this situation down here? The operation had been very successful. Our friends in a majority on the board, non-alcoholics, has a protection to the vagaries of people like Dr. Me and Bob and me and other alcoholic trustees.
