The History of Le Mans
I would say Le Mans history is that it's been bigger than the World Sports Guard Championship. And I don't ever see that changing. Ferrari turned up all year, had plenty of chances to get that car absolutely sorted but still lost. The Porsche 908 is number four on the list, finished second in 1969, most famous and actually scored a pave in 1972 as well. It should have won in the money, I 69. You could hold it against it that it didn't because they had enough cars that one of them should have got to the end to win, won and did get to the end.
