Dominant and Submissive State of Attention
Every single person uses both states of attention. Kasha says the dominant state is all about putting your attention on the other person. The submissive state, on the other hand, is all about going inward with your attention. Casha says both states are equally powerful for influencing people. But when people don't fully inhabit either state, kasha says, power dynamics can get screwy.
