David Rothkopf: The first thing you've got to try to do is see that the aid you give actually gets to the intended people. But it's really hard in Syria because the security conditions are so bad, he says. "I think we have to accept that some of it's going to go to the wrong places," writes Rothkopff. He adds there can be things done to open up the closed crossing point between Turkey and Syria.
