Drug Resistant Fungal Infections Are Emerging
Doctor rhodes worked with researchers in the netherlands to try and pinpoint why drug resistance fungi are emerging. Aspergillus fumagatus, which the dutch tulip breeders are trying to keep at bay. Doctor roses then analyzed the fungi samples and determined that they were all genetically similar,. This made it hard to trace the drug resistance strain to one particular location. The similarities also suggested issue number two, drug resistant aspergilus is spreading. It causes lung infections insisted by protes patients, but also long transplantations as well.
