The Spacial Signatures of the Urban Environment

The main classification that we're working with is what we call, generally, this signatures. These are classes or types that are developed using both information about the form of the patch and the function. And for these, we draw from an emerging field that it it came out of the intersection of urban geography, architecture and planning. That's called morphometrics,. Its entirely devoted to coming up with ways of describing, quantitatively, the morphology ofurban environment.
