The History of Slacks
Andrew Keen: Slacks was invented by the same guy who made Flickr. He says once you get comfortable with it as a platform, you start instancing it and using it in other ways. The app launched in 2013 but is still very much an open-source tool that can be used to do any kind of work or social activity. It's been around for about five years; people have like six different slacks so they're doing for different stuff.
