Are You Comfortable With Uncertainty?

As a VP, my job is to understand how if something changes in the employment law, how that's going to impact the compensation side of things. So I need to make sure that those two people are speaking to each other and they understand which bits of their world interact with another bit of somebody else's work. And then I suppose the last one is really seeing how comfortable people are with uncertainty. If you're trying to create certainty in a system that's continually trending towards entropy, the system's always becoming more chaotic. As an executive, that's what you do. You allocate resources, you place bets on the future.
