The Importance of Studying Over Learning
"There is a big difference in my mind between studying versus learning so as like a needing a formal structure I can be very self motivated in what I want to learn just because there's plenty of teachers and professors that did not teach," he says. "I think I spent an unfortunate number of years studying because I didn't know why I was studying." He adds, "The fundamental shift happened for me when I started taking computer science classes and that was probably the first time I got a shitty grade"
