The Ethics of CRISPR-Cas9 Gene Editing
Nobel Prize-winning biochemist Jennifer Doudna's work on CRISPR marked a new chapter in our ability to alter our DNA. She called for an international moratorium on applying CRISPR to human embryos, at least until the scientific community considered all the ethical implications of gene editing. How recent medical advances may allow us to defeat some of today's most debilitating illnesses.
