I Love Voice Recognition, but I Don't Get It
I bought an Amazon Echo from my home because of all the buzz around. But it's got some flaws. And one of the flaws is it doesn't exclusively recognize my voice. It will build a shopping list for anybody that says Alexa. My son glummed onto this and he started walking to my room and he'd say, Alexa, put sheet metal in my shopping basket. So I stopped using it. This is a case where you see a bunch of technology companies pushing something on us that we really weren't asking for.
