The Power of Beauty
Thomas Aquinas left beauty out of his transadnomer in terms of those that come after him. Heidegger famously talks about the forgetfulness or forgottenness of being, I think that arguably something can be said along those lines for beauty. It seems like our perception of beauty is a vehicle whereby it's possible for us to somehow as limited finite things to have some sort of physical embodied perception of the whole.
