The agency does not make it easy to marry a foreign national. You have to tender your resignation if you wanted to marry one, you've got to get permission to date one. So ye, your your spouse is part of it. And our spouses are amazing, and they do incredible things, and they make incredible sacrifices because they have a tougher life than our forein service colleagues do e abroad. Their spouses aren't always there when they need him there. I was in one country where my family was in the process of being evacurated because we were being invaded. And i couldn't be there for my family. Because i was spying on the country that was trying to mede us.
