I use the book, The Disciplines of Market Leaders as kind of an inspiration to help to talk about strategy. There's really three basic kinds of approaches, high-level approaches a company can take. And if a strategy can't be almost put on a bumper sticker, you're in trouble. I think there's a lot of fear thinking, oh, no, we got to get that right. Then we're going to put it on a binder and it's going to collect us.
