Are Moral Values and Duties Contingent?

Lancy: When we talk about morality, we're not usually talking about entities. We're talking about the property of being good or having an obligation to do something. But i'm still not super clear on why the ultimate explanation has to have perfections at all. Lancy: I think there is an independent argument that xima power would include maximum cognitive power and the power to produce a moral landscape. It just strikes me that the max powerful one would have the greater being.
