Do You Think We'll Get a 5.25?
In the September dot plot, the highest projections for 2023 was 475 to 5%. So basically 5%. And I think there were five or six of them, I can't see exactly how many dots. Do you think we'll get some in the 5.5% or maybe even higher? It's conceivable that we get a 5.5, but at the end of the day, we know that core PCE came in at 5%.So there's not that much actual kind of macroeconomic justification for going that much higher,. Doesn't matter. If you do get even just the 5.25, the implication is that you are raising February 1st, March and June.
