Can Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Work for You?

I hated cognitive behavioral therapy to begin with because I was supposed to be able to just stop negative thinking by saying affirmations. Now it's a good tool when you combine it with emotional release. But if that's the only thing you're going to do, that fear and shame is just going to keep coming and infecting you. You've only got so much willpower available to you in a given day. It takes willpower for a judge to go against the guidelines and be more lenient. And we can't sustain it for so long. All the willpower gives up. That's ultimately it's a it's a flawed strategy. Yeah. God, that's 12 said.
