The Relationship Between Religion and Morality
There are at least three possibilities about the relationship between religion and morality that I can think of. You can think of one is that their religion, religious belief gives rise to morality. Another is that this is a psychologically interesting one that we're motivated to be moral. And then there's some third variable, which is that those same kind of core intuitions that give rise to our moral beliefs are the same ones that give riseto our religious beliefs.
