Stalipin left his bullet povesd and personal body guards behind. He entrusted a lock box full of papers to a close friend, telling that friend to burn them if he didn't come back. Whether or not he was actually suicidally depressed is beyond any historian's ability to diagnose. The real assassin was the very same person had warned the police about the fake assassination plot that didn't actually exist.
