The Pagets and the Sergeant

Violet and john met the sergeant family when they were 12 years old. The sergeants encouraged them to play, write and draw together. violet's first published work came out when she was 14 - it drew from her study of history and art in rome. She also started writing more and more and developing her own imaginative side.
