The Prodigy's Story
I was very lucky for my secondary school education, so in the US one does four years of high school. It was a progressive state-sponsored school in that things like mathematics we could do on our own and not do with the teacher. And because I was going through quite quickly my education, they were good enough to let me have a year out during school. So I had a discussion with my parents whether or not just to go through in three years instead of four years. But I was quite small for my age and a bit immature social A, so they recommended instead I take a year out. How old were you then? Oh gosh, I must have been 16 I think.
