"I made a pact with myself I said I will not brush my teeth until I've got my 1000 words down on the page," says author. "It took me to the next three or four years to sit down and so I also thought okay a lot of people are going out of their way to allow this to happen like my sister." Jerry's process is really to write without control, he writes as if you're drunk at its stone cold sober - that's what he does.
