The Apple Watch Is a Non-Invasive Glucose Monitoring System
A team at Apple has been working on a non-invasive glucose monitoring system for the Apple Watch. Mark Gurman says engineers are working to develop a prototype device about the size of an iPhone that could be strapped to a person's bicep. The aim is to measure glucose levels in someone's bloodstream without the need to prick a finger or insert any kind of probes into a person's skin. This would improve the lives of diabetics immensely and provide another compelling use case for wearing an Apple Watch.
